I have created this Psychedelic Social Contract, designed as a set of commitments that I agree to abide by, solemnly swear to not break, and to uphold these ideals in perpetuity.

Preamble:

Psychedelics Daily, i.e, Hash Borgir is dedicated to providing the public with high-quality and well-researched information on psychedelic drugs and culture. My mission is to promote informed and safe practices surrounding the use of these powerful substances, and to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their own experiences.

This is a Moral Contract. It has absolutely no legal basis in any jurisdiction. It is global and international. This is the world’s first binding social contract, in openness and honesty, between Hash B. and you, the public. In recognition of the importance of free and open access to information about psychedelics, and in order to ensure that individuals are able to make informed decisions about their own experiences, I hereby establish the following Psychedelic Social Contract.

Article 1: Freedom of Access to Information

The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 recognizes the right of individuals to access information about psychedelics free from restriction or discrimination. This information must be freely available to anyone who seeks it, regardless of their background or circumstances.
The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 further recognizes the right of individuals to access this information without cost.

Article 2: Freedom to Study and Modify Information

The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 recognizes the right of individuals to study and modify the information about psychedelics should new research data and empirical evidence arrive, and only based on newly discovered evidence and data. This means that only pure scientific research and empirical data can be used for said modification. This means that the source material used to produce the information must be freely available and accessible to the public, and individuals must be able to make changes to the information according to new reseach and data. This retains the freedom to modify information, but only based on actual data. This protects the information from being tampered with.

The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 recognizes the right of individuals to share information about psychedelics with others. This means that they should be able to copy, distribute, and share the information freely, without restriction or charge, citing all used sources as required by applicable copyright laws from the author’s jurisdiction/country of origin. This means, any information from PsychedelicsDaily can be freely distributed, with the express condition that credit to the original author, that is PsychedelicsDaily or HashBorgir or any contributors to PsychedelicsDaily must be given out of honesty, openness, and mutual respect.

Article 4: Respect for Individual Autonomy

The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 recognizes the importance of respecting the autonomy of individuals. This means that the information about psychedelics must be neutral and not advocate for or against the use of these substances. Rather, it must provide individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their own experiences. It is however okay to feel strongly about a subject, even condone it openly, as I do the subject of psychedelics. However, one must not lean upon an individual or force an idividual to take psychedelic drugs against their will. The contract also recognizes that dosing someone without their express knowledge or consent is illegal. Such actions, should they be observed by PsychedelicsDaily will be reported to the proper authorities.

Article 5: High Quality Research

The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 recognizes the importance of high-quality and evidence-based research that is free from bias and misinformation. The production of information about psychedelics must be guided by the principles of scientific rigor and objectivity, and it must be produced in a responsible and sustainable manner.
Psychedelics Daily is dedicated to producing high-quality and evidence-based research that is free from bias and misinformation. I am committed to providing in-depth analysis and coverage on the latest developments in the field of psychedelics, and to presenting information that is accurate, well-researched, and credible.

Article 6: Commitment to Sustainability

The Psychedelic Social Contract © 2023 v0.0.2 recognizes the importance of sustainability in the production and distribution of information about psychedelics. This means that it must be produced in a manner that ensures its long-term availability and accessibility to the public.

Article 7: Free Distribution

Psychedelics Daily is committed to providing its information freely to the public. This information is made available to everyone without charge, and I encourage the distribution of my content to as wide an audience as possible. I can and do however sell my services, such as psychotherapy, shamanic guidance, and trip sitting, as well as public speaking. This contract recognizes that information on this website will never be behind a paywall and that I’ll never ask you to pay for my content. You may freely donate toward site upkeep and hosting costs, to help me out.

Article 8: Free Access to Source Material

In keeping with the spirit of open research, Psychedelics Daily provides access to all of its research material, including primary sources and data, to anyone who wishes to use it. PsychdelicsDaily, i.e, Hash Borgir, “I”, believe that this open access to information is critical for advancing the field of psychedelic research.

Article 9: Informed Decision-Making

Psychedelics Daily is committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their own experiences with psychedelics. My goal is to provide a platform that enables individuals to understand the complex and rapidly changing world of psychedelics, and to promote informed and safe practices surrounding their use.

Article 10: Commitment to Longevity of Information

Psychedelics Daily is committed to ensuring the longevity of its mission to provide free information on psychedelics to the public. I am dedicated to maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in my research, and to supporting the development of the field of psychedelic research in a responsible and scientific manner.

Article 11: No Discrimination Against Persons or Groups

This Social Contract must not discriminate against any person or group of persons, on any basis including religion, sexuality, gender and/or nationality.
