What is 4-AcO-DMT?

4-AcO-DMT or Psilacetin (otherwise known as O-Acetyl__psilocin__) is a psychedelic 4-substituted Tryptamine developed by Albert Hofmann.

4-AcO-DMT fairly identical in molecular structure to both psilocin and psilocybin. It differs as it has an acetoxy functional group (AcO) attached to its indole ring instead of a hydroxyl or phosphoryloxy.

Upon first pass metabolism, the Acetyl (acetoxy) group is metabolized into a hydroxyl group, effectively turning 4-AcO-DMT into 4-HO-DMT which is the chemical name for Psilocin.

How can you microdose safely on 4-AcO-DMT?

The effective dose of 4-AcO-DMT is 25mg. This is equal to 2.5g of psilocybin cubensis mushroms.

Let’s begin by dividing the effective dose by 10 and then by 5. 25/10 = 2.5mg, and 25/5 = 5mg. So for Psilacetin a microdose ranges from 2.5mg-5mg.

Microdose in 7 Easy Steps!

Here’s how to prepare Psilacetin microdosing solution in 7 easy steps using volumetric dosing. You will need the following supplies.

1. Get an Electronic Milligram Scale

2. Get > 40% ethanol.

3. Get 100ml syringes or droppers.

4. Get a 100ml or 200ml vial or dropper bottle.

5. Drop 10mg of 4-AcO-DMT into the 200ml vial/bottle. Measure out 100ml of ethanol in the syringe. Put 100ml of ethanol in the bottle containing the 10mg of 4-AcO-DMT. Let this fumarate salt powder dissolve overnight.

6. Close the bottle with the cap, and shake it vigorously to completely dissolve the substance into the solution.

7. Using the syringe to measure out 25ml of the solution, which now contains 2.5mg of 4-AcO-DMT. 25ml is 1/4th of 100ml, that is, 2.5mg is 1/4th of 10mg of 4-AcO-DMT.

Microdose Blotter Paper Tabs

This is as simple as cutting the tabs. If you know the dosage of the tabs, you can continue to cut the tab into equal pieces.

If you have 25mg 4-AcO-DMT tabs (the usual blotter dosage), then begin by cutting them into two equal pieces over and over again.

• Cut 25mg tab into half. Now you have 2x 12.5mg tabs.

• Cut each 12.5mg tab into half again, and now you have 4x 6.25mg tabs.

• Cut each 6.25mg tab into half again, and you’ll have 8x 3.125mg tabs.

• Cut each 3.125mg tab in half again, and you’ll get 16x 1.5625mg tabs.

• Cut each 1.5625mg tab in half again, and you’ll have 32x 0.78125mg tabs.

Now you can take the dosage accordingly. As you can see, however, microdosing 4-AcO-DMT blotter tabs can be rather difficult to get just right.

It is recommended that you use volumetric dosing instead.

Another thing to note about microdosing 4-AcO-DMT tabs is that it is not always accurate. The blotter sheet may not have had the same exposure to the substance in all the places, so one spot on the same tab might have less mg of Psilacetin than another spot.

The best method of microdosing is to use volumetric dosing. That way you can dissolve the entire 25mg tab into the liquid and be sure that you’re dosing accurately.
